UMD men’s hockey falls on the road to #11 Colorado College
On Saturday night, the UMD men’s hockey team couldn’t put together enough offensive firepower, as they fell to #11 Colorado College, 4-1.
The Bulldogs were facing an uphill climb almost all game, as they surrendered a goal just over two minutes into the action.
Matthew Perkins lit the lamp for the Bulldogs to knot the game up 1-1 before the end of the first period, but from then on, the Tigers took over the game.
Colorado College would score once at the end of the second period and twice at the end of the third period, including a power play goal to put UMD away for good.
The Bulldogs next turn to St. Cloud State next weekend as their regular season series finale.
