UMD men’s hockey look to regroup in matchup against Miami
After falling against the University of North Dakota, the University of Minnesota Duluth men’s hockey team travel out east to take on the Miami University in Ohio.
“I mean it just starts with our how we start the game. We just can’t get we can’t start behind every single game. We got to go out there and score the first goal and if not even score the first goal bringing into, bringing it after the first period having to score be 0-0 or something really close. It’s kind of hard to play from chasing the lead the entire time,” said UMD sophomore forward Anthony Menghini. “I mean this weekend’s huge for us. That’s one of our biggest goals. We’re looking to start hot.”
The Bulldogs sit with a 3-6 record in season play and have yet to pull a conference point. Miami currently sits with a 3-7-2 record, though they did take St. Cloud State into overtime on November 8th.
UMD will begin their matchup against Miami at 6:05PM in Oxford, Ohio. Their series will conclude on Saturday at 6:05PM.
