The transfer portal continues to swirl in the college hockey world. Tuesday night, a seventh UMD Bulldog entered the portal, but UMD is finally getting reinforcements.

Per Matt Wellens of the Duluth News Tribune, the Bulldogs have picked up a trio of forwards: senior Kyler Kovich of Cornell, juniors Kyle Gaffney of Alaska Fairbanks and Scout Truman of UMass Lowell.

Last year Truman posted 10 goals and eight assists. Gaffney tallied a career best six goals and 14 assists, while Kovich also had a career high five goals and nine assists.

They will join three incoming freshmen forwards: Daniel Shlaine, Hunter Anderson and Ryan Zaremba.
