UMD men’s hockey sees two Bulldogs enter transfer portal, UMD women’s hockey gains two
The transfer portal is a never ending cycle of welcoming in new faces and saying goodbye to those that fans love, and the UMD men’s and women’s hockey teams are on both sides of that spectrum.
On the men’s side, they saw two of their key players enter the portal, as alternate captain Aiden Dubinsky and Matthew Perkins have entered their names in the transfer portal. Dubinsky had a career-high four goals as a junior in 2024-25 appearing in all 36 games as a defenseman, and averaged 21 minutes of playing time, ranking third on the team.
Matthew Perkins scored a goal and tallied four assists this past season, and is a 2023 4th round draft pick of the Vancouver Canucks.
For the UMD women’s team, they added Minnesota’s Kate Kosobud, a Moorhead native and 2024 Ms. Hockey finalist, as well as adding Josie St. Martin, a Stillwater native and Ohio State forward who tallied five goals and five assists for the Buckeyes this past season.
