UMD Men’s Hockey takes a tumble in the polls
The UMD Men's hockey team was #11 going into this past weekend, but now sits at #14 after a one goal weekend against Cornell.
The UMD men’s hockey squad has taken a bit of a tumble in the national rankings after a tough showing in upstate New York this past weekend.
The Bulldogs no longer hold the 11th spot in the national rankings and have dropped to 14th behind Ohio State.
The Bulldogs struggled mightily against the Big Red in their two game series against Cornell where they lost 4-1 Friday and 3-0 on Saturday.
For UMD, things certainly won’t get any easier as they have a home and home series with #7 Minnesota this weekend followed by a home series with #3 North Dakota the week after.
