UMD men’s hockey Will Francis to miss fall semester due to second bout with cancer

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team has been hit with cancer yet again as after beating leukemia just last summer, junior Will Francis released in a statement that the cancer has returned.
In the post via Twitter Francis stated he found out the news during a routine, post-recovery check-up.
Francis will be missing the fall semester of hockey and school due to treatments in the Twin Cities but plans to return to the ice and campus in January.
