UMD names 11 to Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2024
11 new Bulldogs will be inducted into the University of Minnesota Duluth’s (UMD) Athletic Hall of Fame.
UMD released their 2024 Hall of Fame Class on Tuesday.
It includes two multi-sport athletes: Dan Soldner, a track and field and football standout, and Sue Wurl who competed in cross country, track and field, and women’s basketball.
Two more basketball players in Josh Quigly and Stacey Johnson will be honored.
Also being inducted ared hockey players Erika Holst and Rick Kosti, volleyball’s Jodi Jost, football’s Ricky Fritz and Peter Lawton, softball’s Kristen Danielson, and soccer’s Sharon Lahti.
The induction ceremony will be September 27, 2024 at UMD’s Weber Music Hall. For all inductee bios, Click here.
