On Tuesday, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference revealed their preseason polls, in which they ranked the University of Minnesota Duluth men’s hockey team fifth, exactly where they finished in the conference last year.
The University of Denver was picked to win the Penrose cup for the third straight year, with North Dakota in second.
The Bulldogs, despite their placing, did receive one first place vote.
UMD opens their season on October 7th against Michigan Tech.
