The UMD soccer team’s hot streak has propelled them into the six seed in the NSIC playoffs, but today’s Senior Day game would be a big test against Sioux Falls.
Luckily for them, a late goal scored by Myra Moorjani was all they needed to pass the test, winning 2-1.
The scoring was started almost immediately, when Jackie Jares scored 1:09 into the game.
The game would go into the half with the Bulldogs holding the 1-0 advantage, but in the second half, USF scored to tie the game.
The Bulldogs have now won or tied their last six games, just in time with the playoffs around the corner.
The Bulldogs play on the road next Thursday, Oct. 26 at 5 p.m. against Winona State.
