UMD softball heading to NSIC Championship

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) softball team punched their ticket to the NSIC Championship game, beating Augustana 4-0 on Friday.
With the win the Bulldogs are heading their first NSIC Championship appearance since 2002.
Which also happens to be the last time the team has won such title.
Corrie Weise lead the way in the first inning with a home run and finished the game with three RBI.
UMD will now wait to play the winner of Augustana vs. St. Cloud State on Saturday, May 6 at 12:00 p.m.
