UMD softball sweeps back-to-back doubleheader

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) softball team won their fourth and fifth straight games on Saturday, beating Upper Iowa University 9-0 and 10-4 in a doubleheader.

Both games ended in just five innings as in the first and second match the Bulldogs would score six runs in the third inning alone.

Up Next UMD will take on Minnesota State University Moorhead at home on Junction Ave. Field for another doubleheader.

First pitch is scheduled for noon this Wednesday, with the second game slotted for 2:00 p.m.
