University of Minnesota Duluth softball’s Nicole Schmitt was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Week after her efforts helped the Bulldogs advance to a 5-1 record after the Drury Softball Classic in Springfield, MO.
This is the second accolade the senior infielder has earned in the 2025 season, as Schmitt claimed Player of the Week first back on February 4th.
Schmitt leads the NSIC with a 58.7% on-base percentage, 34 RBI’s, 25 runs, and 7 doubles, in the past 20 games. She is second in the NSIC with 7 home runs, 28 hits, and a 95.1% slugging percentage.
