UMD volleyball lands 8th in AVCA National Preseason Poll

Finishing last season in round two of the NCAA Central Regional tournament the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) volleyball team will now enter this year as one of Division II’s top dogs.
It was released Tuesday that UMD has earned a national ranking landing eighth in the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s Preseason Poll.
Unranked entering 2022 they would finish the season ranked seventh with a 27-5 overall record. This is their 15th preseason ranking in the last 17 years.
The Bulldogs season opener is September 1 against Adelphi University in the Ferris State Invitational.
