UMD volleyball rallies past Washburn to win first round of NCAA tournament
After dropping set one 25-21 the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) volleyball team rallied to win their next three sets 25-21, 25-19, and 25-19 to top Washburn University 3-1 in round one of the NCAA tournament Friday.
The Bulldogs were led by fifth year senior Sydney Lanoue tallying 22 kills and 18 digs.
No. 3 UMD advances to the Central Regional semifinals. They’ll take on No. 2 Concordia-St. Paul in Wayne, Nebraska Saturday at 5 p.m. For the full bracket, Click Here.
