UMD women’s basketball continue their winning streak

University of Minnesota Duluth lady Bulldogs hit the hardwood into the New Year against the lady Dragons of Minnesota State University Moorhead.
The Bulldogs entered Sunday’s game winning their last game in 2022 on Saturday, December 31st against Northern State 70-63.
Right at the end of the game, Brooke Olson hit a three-pointer from the corner and beat the buzzer ending the 1st quarter. The Bulldogs continued their six-game winning streak into 2023 by beating the Dragons 60-45.
Brooke Olson led the time in points with 19 and rebounds with nine. Maesyn Thiesen and Ella Gilbertson followed behind in points, ranking up 10 each.
The Bulldogs (11-2) will be looking to improve their record and winning streak when they travel to St. Paul to play Concordia St. Paul on Friday, January 6th. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
