UMD women’s basketball tops Augustana

On Friday, the University of Minnesota Duluth women’s basketball found their groove, beating NSIC opponent Augustana 61-48.

For the Bulldogs, Myra Moorjani and Johanna Miller led the team in points tallying 16, followed by Claire Bjorge with 12 and Lexi Karge with 8. Augustana was led in points by Olivia Hayenga, who netted 15, followed by Hannah Burg with 8 and Paige Grant with 7.

UMD averaged 46.8% in field goals throughout the game, while Augustana averaged 32.1%.

UMD will return on Saturday, December 14th at 3:30PM to face NSIC opponent Wayne State in the Romano Gymnasium. Click here to view their full season schedule.
