UMD Women’s hockey drops two spots in latest USCHO poll

The UMD Women’s hockey team couldn’t pull off their Houdini act of sweeping the top team in the nation again. This past weekend was not a kind one for the Bulldogs, losing to #1 Wisconsin in both games of the weekend series, including a 7-3 loss on Sunday.
UMD has slid down to #5 from #3.
The Bulldogs now sit at 3-3 after dropping three in a row dating back to their Colgate series, but will look to sweep St. Thomas in their upcoming series, which starts on Friday.
