UMD women’s hockey goalie Ève Gascon named to HCA Rookie of the Year Watch List
On Thursday, University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey freshman goalie Ève Gascon was named to the Hockey Commissioners Association (HCA) Rookie of the Year Award Watch List.
Gascon owns the sixth highest save percentage in the NCAA (.946), and has a 1.71 goals against average in 14 games this year.
She is also tied for the second most shutouts by a Bulldog rookie, with four.
Gascon is one of 23 first-year players up for the award. The winner will be announced during the Frozen Four in March.
