UMD women’s hockey moves up to #3, UMD men’s slots in at #18

Without playing a game this weekend, the UMD women’s hockey team has moved up in the United States College Hockey Organization’s polls.
UMD is now officially one of the premiere teams in the country, ranking in at number three in the USCHO poll. This of course all comes on the heels of sweeping previously top ranked Ohio State, and the Buckeyes are now ranked 4th behind UMD.
Additionally on the men’s side, the Bulldogs slot in at 18th in the country in the USA Hockey Division I poll, similar to their ranking in the USCHO poll from last week.
