UMD women's hockey rolls over Syracuse

On Thursday, No. 4 UMD women’s hockey took down Syracuse 6-2 at the AMSOIL Arena in Duluth.

The Bulldogs would net goals thanks to Olivia Wallin, who scored her 50th and 51st career goals, Mary Kate O’Brien, Caitlyn Kraemer, Jenna Lawry and Clara Van Wieren. Syracuse would net goals thanks to Bryn Saarela and Charli Kettyle.

UMD’s goaltender Eve Gascon would make 13 saves and allow two goals, giving her a save percentage of 86.7%. Syracuse’s goaltender Allie Kelley would make 44 saves and allow 6 goals, giving her a save percentage of 88%.
