UMD women's hockey's senior medically retires
Thursday afternoon, the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey team announced on X that senior forward Gabby Krause has chosen to medically retire.
In the post, Krause stated, “Having to medically retire is something I never wanted to face. But I know this is the right decision for my health and my career. Still, that doesn’t make this goodbye any easier.”
Krause played in 110 games over three seasons with the Bulldogs, scoring 15 goals and bringing in 17 assists. The Andover, Minnesota native skated for UMD from 2021-2024.
