UMD's Ben Steeves signs entry level deal with Florida Panthers
Ben Steeves is off to the big leagues, as the UMD sophomore wing is on his way to the sunshine state after signing a professional deal with the Florida Panthers.
Steeves was the Bulldogs leader in scoring this year and last, posting 45 goals and 17 assists for 62 points in 72 career games at UMD.
Steeves is a two-time All-NCHC honoree, making the rookie team last year and second team this season.
Steeves also has a 21 year old brother, Alex Steeves, who is a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs’ organization.
