UMD's Gascon named AHCA All-American, added to Canada's 2025 World Championship roster
It’s been quite the week for UMD goaltender Ève Gascon.
On Friday, Gascon was named to Canada’s 2025 World Championship roster, and will team up with former Bulldog Jocelyn Larocque. Gascon is one of three goaltenders on the squad and is one of six players who will make their IIHF Women’s World Championship debut.
On Saturday, she was named an American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American first teamer. This marks just the fourth time in program history a Bulldog goaltender has been named an All-American, and the second in four seasons.
Gascon is now the 23rd UMDA AHCA All-American, and is the 16th first team selection.
