UMD's Hailey MacLeod named WCHA Goaltender of the Month
On Tuesday, University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey sophomore Hailey MacLeod was named the Western Collegiate Hockey Association’s (WCHA) Goaltender of the Month for February.
Undefeated in the month, she recorded a league-low 0.49 goals against average with just two goals allowed on 106 shots faced. She also tallied a 0.981 saves percentage along with two shutouts.
MacLeod and UMD next host St. Cloud State University this weekend to open the WCHA tournament. Puck drop Friday is 4 p.m. at AMSOIL Arena, then Saturday at 3 p.m. If needed, game three will be Sunday at 3 p.m.
