Two University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football captains have landed on the prestigious 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl Watchlist. They are graduate tight end Sam Pitz, and sixth year offensive lineman Aiden Williams.

Pitz is a three-time Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) All-Conference selection, and caught a personal best nine touchdown passes last fall.

Williams is a two-time all NSIC second team honoree, who played a pivotal role in blocking for UMD’s top ranked rushing offense in 2023.

In July, both Pitz and Williams were named to the 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl 1000, an early watchlist for the annual all-star game featuring the nation’s best NFL Draft prospects, and last week both players were named to the D2Football.com Elite 100 Watch List.

The Reese’s Bowl is a 75 year old college football all-star game considered to be the first stage in the NFL Draft process. The game is February 1, 2025. For the full watchlist, Click here.
