Clara Van Wieren has been named the WCHA Outstanding Student-Athlete of the year.

The award goes to those that excel in the classroom and on the ice.

In addition to Van Wieren’s production on the ice, with a career best 13 best goals and 24 points, Van Wieren is also a double major in political science and philosophy, and has posted a 4.0 Grade Point Average every semester of her career for the last three years.
