UWS baseball plates 10 but still can't keep up offensively against Crown
UWS baseball was able to score 10 runs on Sunday’s first game of their doubleheader against Crown, but still couldn’t bring home the win, falling 18-10.
Wind blowing out to center field was a major factor in the game and the scoring, as there were four home runs between the two teams.
It was a 10-5 Crown lead before UWS could make a good offensive push to catch them, but eight more Crown runs buried the Yellowjackets.
UWS also lost the second game of the doubleheader, 5-2.
They next take the diamond on Saturday against North Central.
