UWS completes comeback to earn first win of the year
On Sunday, the UWS women’s soccer team completed a 2-1 comeback win over UW-River Falls.
In the first half, it was a defensive battle, as neither team could get anything to go into net, however, with just seconds remaining in the first half, River Falls scored.
In the second half, the Yellowjackets came out with aggression, and it paid off for them in the form of two goals, one from Kamryn Hill in the 78th minute and the eventual winner by Brynne Crystal in the 82nd.
The Yellowjackets will look to start a winning streak on Wednesday against Saint Scholastica.
