UWS hosts the high school track and field Packy Paquette Invite

With indoor spring sports continuing to pick up, The University of Wisconsin-Superior played host to yet another high school track and field meet this season: The Packy Paquette Invite.

In the boys’ 4×800 meter relay, Duluth East anchor Ben Westholm takes home the crown for the Greyhounds by 9 seconds with a time of 8:50.69.

Next up is the girls’ 55-meter hurdles, it’s Spooner’s Sevanna Burke pulls ahead racing to first place in 9.29 seconds.

In the boys’ 200-meter hurdles, it’s was a close one as Superior’s Isai Essien edges out Ashland’s David Goyke by under a second with a time of 26.89.
