The UWS men’s hockey team found the back of the net first on Saturday against #14 UW-Eau Claire, but couldn’t finish the job, falling to the Blugolds 3-1.
Reed Stark scored six minutes into the contest, putting the Yellowjackets in a good spot. However, UWEC would even the game up at 1-1 before the end of the period.
They would add two more goals to put the Yellowjackets away easily.
UWS is back in action on Friday against UW-River Falls.
