UWS men's hockey skates past UW-Stout
The UWS men’s hockey team used their physicality to edge UW-Stout 4-1 on home ice.
The Yellowjackets scored in under nine minutes to kick the game off, as Tristan Therrian found the back of the net for a 1-0 win.
UW-Stout evened the game at 1-1 in the second period, but the Yellowjackets regained the lead in the second period thanks to a Evan Axell power play goal.
In the third period, Collin Pederson and Carson Riddle scored to give the Yellowjackets the 4-1 lead, where the game would end.
UWS and UW-Stout face off again on Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
