UWS names Bre Simon next women's hockey head coach
On Tuesday the University of Wisconsin-Superior announced the hiring of Bre Simon as their next women’s hockey coach.
She takes over for Dan Laughlin who retired in March after 21 seasons as head coach of the program.

Simon comes to UWS after a two-year stint as an assistant coach for Elmira College, who this year finished as NCAA DIII championship runners-up. She also spent two years coaching high school hockey in Minnesota at Gentry Academy.
A 2020 Hamline University graduate, Simon is still their all-time leader in goals (92), assists (93) and points (185).
