UWS women's hockey topples Hamline
On Friday, the University of Superior Wisconsin women’s hockey team took down Hamline 3-1 in their afternoon home-game matchup at Wessman Arena.
UWS would put themselves on the board first with a goal from freshman forward Kaylin Garner. Against the Pipers, Garner would tally two goals, and freshman forward Emma Booth would net one for the Yellowjackets. Hamline’s Abigail Chamernick would net the solo score for the Pipers.
UWS goalie Anna Maulson made 49 saves throughout the game, while Hamline’s Kendra Nordik made 12.
UWS will return to battle Augsburg on November 9th at 2PM at Wessman Arena.
