UWS Women’s Soccer defeats CSS in bridge battle

Coming into Sunday, the UW-Superior Women’s soccer team was absolutely rolling, with a 9-4-1 record, while the CSS Saints were on the other end of the spectrum at 1-10.
While the Saints gave it their best try, UWS ultimately pulled out a victory on the road, winning 3-1.
Mya Holmquist net two goals for the Yellowjackets, with the second coming as insurance, increasing the lead to 3-1.
Saints’ Tenley Voth was the lone scorer for CSS, her first of the year.
The Saints will try to bounce back against the College of Saint Benedict on Wednesday, while UWS tries to continue their successful season against North Central on Wednesday.
