The Minnesota Wilderness defenseman Gustavs Ozolins will skate with his home country of Latvia in the World Junior Championship for the second time in his career.
The 19-year-old played a big part in team Latvia last year, as he played in all five of Latvia’s games, scoring one goal and one assist.
Ozolins is committed to skating his collegiate career in the NCAA with Bemidji State. Latvia’s first game is Monday, December 26th, against the USA.
