Wilderness win in thriller, move ahead of Steel for final playoff spot
Wilderness win in thriller, head to playoffs
It was more than an exciting night for the Minnesota Wilderness on Friday, as they defeated the Springfield Jr. Blues 1-0 in overtime.
Not only was the win electrifying as the final home game of the year, but it propelled the Wilderness a game ahead of the Chippewa Steel for the last playoff spot.
With plenty of puck control all night, the Wilderness had multiple chances at goals all throughout the game, but ultimately couldn’t see any through.
In overtime, Nate Murray would do the trick and find twine to end the scoring drought.
Minnesota will next face the Jr. Blues once again, this time in Springfield on April 12th.
