Despite Noah Winesett’s game-leading 19 points the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) men’s basketball team suffered their eighth straight loss Wednesday at the hands of Gustavus Adolphus College.

The Saints fell 76-68 at Reif Gym to fall to 2-17 overall on the season.

Winesett’s 19 points were followed by two more double digit Saints performers. Tanner Thomson tallied 13 points and Kevin Thomas added 11, leading with six rebounds.

CSS will fight to break out of their slump Saturday visiting St. John’s University. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
