Arena Football League’s Minnesota Myth folds after two games

On Tuesday, owner Diana Hutton announced on the Minnesota MYTH Facebook page that all future games for the Minnesota Myth were canceled and the Myth “has ceased operations.” The Myth team had played just two games in the Arena Football League.

In the post Hutton stated:
“The promise of bringing another professional team to Minnesota was bright and filled with hope… Unfortunately, the effort was lost in the waves of negative chatter and misinformation that plagued social media, led by intentional efforts from non-supportive teams within the league and other individuals. Consequently, Minnesota Myth has ceased operations, and all future Myth games scheduled at Target Center are now canceled.”

The post goes on to say that refunds will be available where the tickets were purchased and would be automatically provided by AXS.

The MYTH was scheduled to play their home games at the Target Center.

It should be noted that the Arena Football League is a seperate organization from The Arena League that hosts Duluth Harbor Monsters.
