Ironwood’s Luther L. Wright set to celebrate 100 years
Ironwood, Michigan’s Luther L. Wright K-12 school is turning 100 years old Saturday.
The community is celebrating the centennial anniversary during the Ironwood festival which is the annual community celebration. In today’s day and age, the school has around 700 K-12 attendees.
Friday the opening ceremony kicks off at 2:30pm and then on Saturday they’ll have an open house at the school with tours available at the school from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
Organizers hope this brings back alumni to connect with the community about what it was like to go to school at Luther L. Wright, as it’s the only school in Ironwood.
