Lea Zmurko: A couple quick clippers with temps on the climb
The Northland has settled into the snowy landscape with many seeing over a foot of snow fall by the end. Winds have died down leaving a little bit of patchy fog for the early morning. Conditions will remain quiet for Friday as clouds continue to pass overhead. Highs will slowly be on the rise and plateau in the mid-40s for the upcoming weekend. Better chances for warmer weather will arrive by next week.

The big snowstorm may be done, but a quick round of mixed precipitation will look to cross the region overnight this weekend. Minimal snowfall accumulation will land along the northern border of Minnesota and travel eastward to northern Iron County. Rain and sleet will mix in closer to the Lake as the cold front progress. Temperatures will dip before they exponentially increase, the chilliest day looks to be Monday with highs in the upper 20s to 30s, but shortly after the warmer air will move in bringing the Northland into the 50s and 60s.
