April 3: The snow comes to a conclusion

An additional inch of snow will pass over the Northland this morning as the low-pressure system looks to depart.

An additional inch of snow will pass over the Northland this morning as the low-pressure system looks to depart. Winds are now pushing in from the northwest and staying elevated for the start of the day. The gusty conditions will be blowing around snow reducing visibilities on the roads and impeding the travel conditions as many head out the door.

Temperatures will work their way into the upper 30s and low 40s, overall staying mild for the rest of the week. Skies will remain dry from the short while, but a weaker system will push across in the wake of the storm we just saw. A light clipper looks to arrive overnight this weekend with very light accumulation expected for northern MN.

Afterwards, conditions continue to be dry, and temperatures will be consistent in the mid-40s, but looking to enter a bit of a warmup next week.
