Lea Zmurko: A tranquil Tuesday morning
It’s a cool and calm morning in the Northland as high pressure remains overhead.
Temperature today will be reaching the upper thirties and mid forties as the warming trend slowly sets in for this week. There will be a more dramatic jump up just intime for the weekend.

Conditions will remain dry today, but a round of wet weather is expected to start Wednesday evening and continue into Thursday morning. Some light snow and ice accumulation remains possible as temperatures remain cooler overnight across the Arrowhead and north of Brainerd. With this incoming scattered system, minimal accumulation is expected as areas will likely see and inch or two at most and it will transition quickly to rain as temperatures climb during the day.
After the skies clear Thursday afternoon, the sunshine will stay strong for Friday and Saturday. Yet another round of wet weather is expected for the start of next week with more rain and a slight chance for mixed precipitation.
