Lea Zmurko: Here comes the sun

November 6: Drier days ahead

Wednesday will remain dry across the Northland as high pressure moves in following the rain received yesterday.

It will be a quiet morning in the Northland with some areas of dense fog near Brainerd Lakes stretching into central Minnesota. Lights winds and some spotty fog will stick around for the early morning, but that will dissipate when the sun rises.

Temperatures will start in the mid-30s for many and then reach the upper 40s and low fifties as sunshine and brighter skies remain consistent for the rest of the week.  Tomorrow will be breezy but still dry as winds reach 15 mph wind speeds and gusts exceed 20-30 mph. The windiest areas will be along the coastlines of the South Shore and at the tip of the Arrowhead.

Rain is slated to return late Saturday night and clear mid-day Sunday.
