Lea Zmurko: Winds slowly diminish
A little more precipitation crosses the region before tapering off, but it will take a little bit longer for the winds to calm down. The strong gusts from the northwest continue to bluster at 15-20 mph.
Dry air is approaching, and more sunshine is instore for the middle of the week, but another quick round of showers and some thunderstorms will be mixed in for Thursday evening. Temperatures will rebound to the upper 40s and 50s for the rest of the week. The weekend will be pleasant and enjoyable to be outdoors, but a lingering lake breeze could keep things cooler by the water.
