Missing Fredenberg man found deceased
November 13 Update #2: The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office reports that Marc Curran was found deceased on Wednesday morning. Authorities say his cause of death still needs to be determined, but that no foul play is suspected.
“The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office would like to send our condolences to all of Mr. Curran’s family and friends and thank everyone who offered assistance,” said Sgt. Erik Peterson.
November 13 Update: The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office Rescue Squad is continuing their search for Marc Curran on Wednesday. They will be searching the western Island Lake area with trained search teams, drones, and K9 teams. Authorities say they have a sufficient amount of searchers at this time, but ask property owners to check their property, outbuildings, and any footage from outdoor surveillance cameras.
Original Story: The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, the Fredenberg Volunteer Fire Department and the St. Louis County Rescue Squad are searching for a missing 62-year-old man from Fredenberg Township.
According to a report, local resident Marc Curran has not been seen or heard from since 4:30 PM on Monday, November 11.
Authorities say Curran left his home near the Bear Island Road area in Fredenberg Township on Monday. They do not believed he is in a vehicle. Curran does not have a cell phone on him and his clothing description is unknown at this time.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office would like to check on welfare of Curran. If anyone has any information as to his whereabouts, they are encouraged to call 911.
