Smile! Today is the first day of spring according to the calendar. The vernal equinox has arrived and to celebrate the first day of spring we are going to see white confetti fall from the sky once again beginning tomorrow afternoon. Another round of wintry weather is on the way and most of us will see a brand new 3-6” of new snow Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday.
There will likely be some localized spots along the north shore near Silver Bay that will see over 6” of snow. To go along with our new round of snow will be windy conditions. This will likely create difficult travel beginning late Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. Temperatures will shift and warm up as we head into the weekend. Some parts of Northland may reach the 40s by Saturday. However, there does look to be another round of snow possible late Sunday into Monday.
