Skies will continue to clear as an area of low pressure responsible for our latest round of weather moves farther east. Much colder air will slide into the region tonight to take us through the remainder of the week. There might even be a chance for some wind chill headlines come Friday morning. The good news is we are going to see plenty of sunshine.
Lake effect snow showers for portions of the South Shore will linger until Friday with a couple of inches possible for northern Iron County. Temperatures briefly warm for the weekend before returning to values that are more seasonable during the next workweek. Several clippers are expected to pass through the region beginning Sunday. More like snow returns late Sunday into Monday. Next week looks a bit more active with several clipper systems.
