The north shore, the head of the lake, east central Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin are all under a Winter Weather Advisory until roughly midnight tonight. A quick 1-3” of snowfall is likely by Tuesday morning. It will likely be widespread but there is likely a change of heavier amounts along the higher terrain of the North shore.
The good news is the snow will likely melt as temperatures remain in the 30s the rest of the week. Wednesday and Thursday look to be the warmest. There is a chance of some light snow returning late Thursday. Another nicer weekend is likely with sunshine and warmth by Sunday.
