Popcorn variety type of showers will continue through the evening. As the low responsible for all rain chances the last couple of days departs, high pressure is ready to return. Drier air and warmer conditions will accompany the high heading into the weekend. Saturday looks to be the best day of the weekend with temperatures in the 80s. A cold front will come swinging through Sunday and rain showers are likely Sunday afternoon and evening. Right now, the threat for severe weather is still in question. Rain looks to linger into Monday morning.
