Well I hope you are ready! This week we are going to see temperatures near 80°F to start of the week and by Thursday morning, frost is likely along with highs only in the upper 50s to lower 60s. This is a huge temperature swing. There are several chance for light rain this week too. The first chance is tonight as an area of high pressure leaves southern Wisconsin and puts us in southerly flow.
Moisture will advance northward a spark off a shower and thunderstorm in the northern part of our viewing area tonight. Showers will linger into Tuesday before an upper level low departs and another high of seasonably dry weather slides in Wednesday and Thursday. Overnight lows may drop into the upper 20s to low 30s by the end of the week. Another round of wet weather is possible Friday through the weekend. The air looks dry but at this time some isolated showers are possible.
Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 58. South wind around 5 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
